Founded in May 2006, Cilion is a renewable fuels company producing transportation fuels to power cars and trucks.

Cilion is positioning itself as a leader in the U.S. ethanol fuel market and continues its leadership with its strategic investor group comprised of Khosla Ventures, Virgin Fuels, The Yucaipa Companies and Western Milling; and its knowledgeable management team with leading experience in agricultural markets, ethanol production, and fuels marketing and distribution.

Cilion fuel is American made which helps reduce our dependence on foreign oil while simultaneously strengthening the American economy by producing the next generation of low cost and environmentally sustainable biofuels.

Cilion will distinguish itself by its financial strength, integrated and adaptive business model, energy efficient ethanol facilities, and state-of-the-art technology. We also produce high quality distillers grains as a co-product of ethanol production to support local agriculture. Distillers grain is an economic, high protein dairy and cattle feed.

Further, Cilion is committed to innovating greener, lower cost renewable fuels for the future. Available today, ethanol is an important piece of the renewable energy puzzle. Corn ethanol is not an ending point, but is the growth engine for U.S. based ethanol production. Conventional ethanol establishes a platform (via infrastructure, policy advancement and industry acceptance) for other renewable fuels. As a renewable resource with positive environmental benefits, ethanol is part of the sustainable, domestic solution to our energy needs. Ethanol provides consumers with greener fuel choice today and sets the stage for greener, lower cost renewable fuels for the future.
